The Elizabethan Gardens Grand Illumination Holiday Lighting & Floral Tapestry Premier will be held tomorrow night in Manteo. The magical Outer Banks event includes the Grand Illumination of the Elizabethan Gardens holiday lights and the premier of the floral tapestry.

The Town of Manteo celebrated Christmas at First Friday in true Elizabethan style. Every first Friday of the month by the waterfront in Manteo, locals and vacationers gather to socialize and enjoy the family friendly atmosphere. This year was no different. The night began with a large bonfire in the street. The bonfire kept everyone warm! Free Hot chocolate and hot cider was given out to help combat the chilly tempartures.
At the west end of Ocean Acres Drive in Kill Devil Hills, an ordinary gravel road becomes a holiday wonderland that delights local Christmas lovers. Every year for the last 42 years, the Poulos family has transformed their home into a Christmas paradise for all on the Outer Banks to enjoy.
