Owner Accounting Specialist

Sun Realty is seeking a full-time, year-round, Owner Accounting Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to the Accounting Department, involving collaboration across various functions and Sun Realty Departments. The Owner Accounting Specialist will focus on managing and maintaining vacation property owner accounts to ensure their needs are met effectively.

For over 44 years, Sun Realty has been a trusted leader in vacation rental services providing employees with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401K plan, medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, holidays, and more. This position is Monday – Friday, weekends not required.

Requirements

Must have good communication skills and strong ability to pay attention to details. Must have a good attitude, the ability to work well with others and have high personal integrity. Reliability and confidentiality are also essential. Able to make decisions when circumstances arise that require action. 

Physical/Mental Demands:  Hearing, speaking, seeing, minimal walking, minimal standing, significant amount of sitting, reaching, bending, minimal steps; reading, comprehension, analytical thinking, problem solving, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.

Machines/Equipment: A valid, active NC Driver’s License with proper insurance and inspections (as required in company guidelines); the operation of a computer, computer peripherals and office equipment.

Work Environment: Indoor, office work environment, minimal-to-moderate amount of noise, some exposure to outside weather conditions, fast paced, at times mentally strenuous, shifting priorities due to changing needs and situations with little to no notice. 

Hours: Full time, year-round position. Overtime may be required. Regular, punctual attendance required.

Salary Range: Pay based on experience and proven ability, determined by Accounting Manager.

Housekeeping Manager - Kill Devil Hills

Sun Realty is hiring a full-time, year-round Housekeeping Manager to oversee and maintain high standards of satisfaction for homeowners and guests. This position emphasizes excellence in housekeeping management and services, requiring availability on weekends and holidays. Requirements

Work Environment: Primarily office environment. Also exposed to outside weather conditions, many instances in extreme heat and/or cold and high winds. Maneuvering a vehicle in congested traffic situations. Using cleaning chemicals and products.
