Assistant Housekeeping Manager - Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills

Sun Realty is seeking 2 full-time, year-round Assistant Housekeeping Managers to join its team -  one for our Kitty Hawk office, and one for our Kill Devil Hills office. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager provides Sun Realty’s homeowners and guests with the highest level of satisfaction, ensuring continuous delivery of excellence in every aspect of housekeeping management and services. This position requires weekend and holiday availability. 

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following

  • 2+ years’ experience in housekeeping/customer service
  • Ability to pass a background 
  • Reliable transportation and current, active NC driver's license
  • Leadership qualities, people skills, and strong work ethic 
  • Computer efficient in Microsoft Office: Word and Outlook 
  • Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Requirements

Physical/Mental Requirements: Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, climbing steps, bending, and lifting, up to 50 pounds. Requires reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.

Machines and Equipment: Reliable transportation, with valid, active NC driver license, proper insurance, licenses, and inspections (as required in company guidelines); computers, copiers, and all office equipment. 

Work Environment: Primarily office environment. Also exposed to outside weather conditions, many instances in extreme heat and/or cold and high winds. fast paced, at times mentally strenuous, shifting priorities due to changing needs and situations with little to no notice. Maneuvering a vehicle in congested traffic situations. Using cleaning chemicals and products.

Maintenance Coordinator

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for supporting company operations by assisting and promoting Sun Services. The Maintenance Coordinator ensures continuous delivery of excellence in customer service, excels at problem solving, conflict resolution and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Answering phones (1st on phones).
  • Generating maintenance work orders. 
  • Contacting owners for approval on repairs.
  • Run reports to follow up and/or reschedule work order they have generated (Smart Service).
  • Run reports bi-monthly to follow up with vendor work orders they generated (V12).
  • Review/approve vendor invoices prior to being billed.
  • Keep open line of communication with outer offices regarding maintenance/HVAC/vendor issues.
  • Troubleshooting with guests, attempt to resolve issues over the phone prior to issuing work order.
  • Communicating with owners to update vendor preferences.
  • Responsible for after-hours phone (on rotation).
  • Assist in generating Filter & Inspection work orders (included in plan agreements).
  • Assist in promoting in-house services (sales on maintenance, HVAC & pool services).
  • Responsible for handling all incoming work order requests via fax/phone and e-mail from Rentals and Housekeeping.
  • Assist in general filing and office upkeep.
  • Must adhere to procedures and protocols as outlined by management (Sundown Rule, Delineation, After-hours procedures etc.).
  • Attend & participate in monthly MC meeting with manager(s).
  • May be required to assist with other Sun offices/departments as needed.
Requirements:

Physical/Mental Demands: Hearing, speaking, seeing, sitting, walking, standing, driving, bending, and climbing steps; lifting and carrying 25-30 lbs., reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.

Machines/Equipment/Licenses: Reliable transportation, with valid, active NC driver license, proper insurance, and inspections (as required in company guidelines); computers, copiers, all office equipment.

Work Environment: Indoor, office work environment, minimal-to-moderate amount of noise infrequent-to-no exposure to outside weather conditions, fast paced, at times mentally strenuous; shifting priorities due to changing needs and situations with little to no notice.

Sun Services Pool and Spa Supervisor

Sun Services is seeking a Pool and Spa Supervisor to oversee and manage the maintenance, repair, and quality control of pools and spas. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with expertise in pool and spa operations, troubleshooting equipment, and customer service. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional service delivery while maintaining operational efficiency and adherence to industry standards.

Pool & Spa Cleaner

Sun Services Pool & Spa Cleaner must possess expertise and discipline to work with well with guests, vendors, and co-workers. The Pool & Spa Cleaner must ensure the highest level of overall service in accordance with company policy and procedures.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Cleans and maintains pools and spas at safe levels. Guest safety is priority.
  • Must be CPO Certified.
  • Reports condition of pools and spa to manager, communicates effectively with management and rental staff.
  • Provides weekly chemical checks to management for guest safety.
  • Professionally interacts with homeowners, guest, and rental staff relative to problem resolution.
