Running effortlessly into the towns of Duck and Kitty Hawk, there are no hotels, motels, condos, fast food chains, or commercial buildings in this area; only residential and vacation homes nestled within 4.1 square-miles of maritime forest.
Southern Shores rentals range from “beach box” cottages and one-story, ranch-style homes; to large, multiple bedroom vacation rentals.
