B and B By the Sea offers you the amenities you desire for a great vacation! Relax in the private pool after a day at the beach, or dine on the screen porch enjoying gorgeous ocean views!

B and B By the Sea is located just a short distance to the beach and Duck Village. You’ll be able to beat the traffic with checking in on a Sunday! This wonderful retreat has a commercial ice maker, fish cleaning table, and book exchange for your enjoyment. This home is a short distance to your favorite shop or famous restaurants in the Village of Duck. B and B By the Sea is sure to become your family's favorite beach home for years to come.

Bed linens and towels are provided year-round but are not provided for partial or discounted weeks.

The private, unheated pool is available from the second week of May to the second week of October. The pool size is approximately 14’ x 32’.

B and B By the Sea is not pet-friendly.

Mid Level: Queen bedroom connected to a bedroom with 2 twins by a Jack and Jill bath with a tub/shower, queen bedroom, bunk and twin bedroom, full hall bath with tub/shower.

Top Level: Living area, kitchen, dining area, hall half bath, king en suite with private bath offering 2 vanities and tile shower stall, screen porch, and sun deck with ocean views.

We have stayed at the B&B By the Sea for many many years and love it! It’s a super short walk to the beach. No car or golf cart necessary. The kitchen is very well equipped. Even has a Keurig! There are plenty of beds and seating and all is comfy!

Loved the house. It was excellent. My grandchildren loved the pool. The kitchen was well equipped with everything a person needed. A dish drain would have been nice for those dishes and pans washed by hand. All beds and sofas were excellent. Outside furniture was excellent.

Nice distant to the beach. Best beds we ever had in OBX. We wished the pool was heated but only because we came early in the season and the weather wasn’t the best. Kitchen plates were not microwave proof and required to be on the top dishwasher rack.

My family and I have been going to Duck for the last 25+ years. We have stayed at several houses during this time. For at least the last 10 years we have stayed in B&B by the Sea. Frankly as long as we have enough people going we won’t stay anywhere else. The home is reasonably priced compared to similar properties available. The house is well maintained and has all the amenities we need including a fully stocked kitchen and a swimming pool. It is located within walking/biking distance to the town of duck and about five houses away from the beach - a very short walk. The beach has a private entrance from the street (stairs over the dunes) and has a lifeguard on duty in the summer. There is ample parking for several vehicles and the view of the sunset is spectacular from the upper deck. If you are looking at places to stay and this house meets your family’s requirements it has my (our) highest recommendation. Chris

The ability of the pool heater to raise the water to the desired temperature may vary based on weather conditions. Extremely cold or windy weather may impact its performance. Heating may take longer than expected under these weather conditions, and the heater may be unable to obtain the expected water temperature. Guests may experience potential deviations from target temperatures. Hot tubs are open year-round, unless otherwise specified.
