Adding to the theme of relaxation, once guests of The Loft have had their fair share of beach time, they can come back to the property and enjoy the pool which is private to guests of the community. The Oyster Pointe community is also just a short walk from many of the area's sound accesses. These sound accesses can come in handy if the wind and waves are making the beach hard for the little ones to enjoy kayaks and paddleboards.

For other Outer Banks attractions, you will be happy to know The Loft at Oyster Pointe is truly the halfway point of the entire Outer Banks. For history buffs, the birthplace of flight and the Wright Brothers Monument is less than a mile away to the north and easily accessed on foot or bike from your condo. Five miles to the south the nature lovers and outdoor adventurers of the family can access Jockey’s Ridge, the largest moving sand dune in eastern North America and home to the world’s largest Hang Gliding School. If day trips are in order, travel north to the quaint villages of Duck, Corolla, and just past the 4x4 area where the wild Spanish Horses roam freely. South lies the historic Manteo waterfront, Oregon Inlet and Pirates Cove Fishing Centers, Hatteras Island, and even Ocracoke Island, home of Blackbeard the Pirate.
