Just the right cottage for the family and your pet! This comfortable and cozy spot in South Nags Head has a spacious great room, open kitchen, nice size bedrooms and partial ocean views. With direct beach access only 50 yards away, it's easy to go back and forth throughout the day.

Hideawave is close to great restaurants and activities for the family. Jennette's Pier is just a mile north of this home, an ideal spot for sight-seeing and fishing. Take a bike ride on the multi-use path south to the Outer Banks Fishing Pier and enjoy a meal and drinks at Fish Heads Bar & Grill. Take a day trip to Hatteras or Ocracoke Islands, set up a fishing trip, or just lay on the wide beaches and enjoy the sun and the waves. Hey, it's your vacation!

This home does not include Sheets and towels. However, an optional package can be purchased for an additional charge.

Nice arrangement of beds in each room. Beds are comfortable. Seating is comfortable but not enough for 12 people. It sleeps 12 people but there's only room for about 7 people to sit comfortably. Kitchen lacked basic things like a decent spatula a pitcher (we have bought pitchers the last 2 years!) and sturdy stirring spoons.

Overall

We enjoyed our stay at the Hideawave! The home had all the necessities! Plenty of room for all of us to sleep as well as to eat our meals together at the dining table. Liked the open concept main floor where we could all be together and not feel too crowded. Loved that it is just steps away from the beach!

We have one dog so need a dog friendly property. Love the location and the bed sizes are perfect for our family. Beds are very comfortable thank you. Looks like the carpet was replaced this year so the property appeared better. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning.

Great location and comfortable! The main living area is great. The kitchen dining and living room areas are all open to each other. The couches are old but comfy. The king bed is old and has a dent from so many laying in the same space - could use a refresh. Kitchen is convenient and has lots of dishes and utensils. The refrigerator is old and small. It took a long time to get cold and it seems that it needs repair. Other appliances were fine.

We would recommend it but likely won't stay there again because we need a bigger house next year. Loved the beds! They were very comfortable.

Overall

Good location just no real beach view except from the top deck. The kitchen was fine. We had stayed in this house for 10 years but the last time was in 2010. There was new furniture the swing on the deck was new along with the screen door. Those were nice updates.
