The young and young at heart will enjoy the Easter EGG-stravaganza on Friday, April 22, at The Whalehead Club on Currituck Heritage Park. The traditional egg hunt, set for 1-3 p.m., will have plenty to offer kids, including pony rides with the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, balloon art with Magic Mike, face painting, egg and spoon races, a jellybean counting contest and more.

This family event will offer snacks and refreshments with free admission and parking. In addition the Currituck Beach Lighthouse will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is adjacent to Currituck Heritage Park in the Corolla Historic District.
