The National Park Service at Cape Hatteras National Seashore is offering a rare glimpse of the Cape Hatteras lighthouse at night, this Thursday, June 3. The full moon tours are limited to 30 people each. Tickets can be purchased at the lighthouse ticket booth. The tour will require visitors to climb the 257 stairs to the top of the lighthouse. Park Rangers will tell stories and folklore about the lighthouse during the tour. This event is one night only and a rare chance to witness the operation of the beacon.
