One thing I love about Outer Banks Bike Week... Bikers always seem to defy stereotypes. In the movies, bikers are usually portrayed as loud, hard drinkin' folks who tear up bars and hotels. In reality, the people who come to the beach for Outer Banks Bike Week are impossible to typecast. This diverse group of bikers includes everyone from veterans, to pediatricians, to accountants, to tattoo shop owners, to PTA moms, to mechanics, and beyond!

Another thing: I've found the vast majority of OBX Bike Week visitors to be polite, easy-going people. Plus, they help the local economy immensely by renting Outer Banks vacation homes, eating in local restaurants, shopping, buying groceries, tipping wait staff, etc. Most small businesses on the Outer Banks make all their annual revenue during the summer months; the off-season is always tough. An event like Outer Banks Bike Week brings in a large number of visitors during the spring - a welcome sight for OBX business owners and locals.

Sun Realty is proud to welcome OBX Bike Week vacationers. The 2010 event will take place April 17-25. We've even created a special offer just for Bike Week guests:

Take $75 off our already low rental rates when you stay with us anytime during Outer Banks Bike Week. Plus, we'll give you a FREE Early Check-In valued at $100. Learn more about Sun Realty's OBX Bike Week Special.

We hope to see both bikers (and non-bikers) at the beach this spring!
