For 2025, The Brown Pelican will include credit for $245 in beach gear rentals from our partners at VayK Life. Stay between April 5th and October 18th, 2025 (tentative dates, 7-night minimum), and use your beach gear credit for items such as bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, paddleboards, and more!

My family of four loves this cottage! Has everything we need. It is the perfect size for my family (two adults, two kids) and a great price! Not too far from the shore; we could still comfortably walk to the beach. It has the "traditional cottage" feel to it. I grew up coming to Kitty Hawk every summer, and this cottage reminds me of the various cottages my extended family would rent over the years.

Close to beach access; it's easy over the dune. House was fine; could use some new appliances and TLC other than that it served it's purpose. A little reinvestment would make this a great property!

Great location! This home had everything we needed! We have stayed here two years in a row for a two week stretch. We love and it fits us perfectly as it is just me, my husband and my mom.

Great older house, we enjoyed our stay. Within walking distance of the shore, which is what we wanted. No complaints with the bedding and living spaces. Kitchen was fine but the pots and pans were old and could be replaced. A little outdated in places, but it had everything we needed.

Good location and nice views even being a few rows back from main road. Stayed here last year and this year was much cleaner (shout out to Kay!). House needs to be updated/maintained. We stayed in this house because it was near other family would stay here again if maintained. New dishwasher is nice in the kitchen however it needs to be properly mounted/installed. Beds much more comfortable than last year. I like the updated comforters.

Guests may experience potential deviations from target temperatures. Hot tubs are open year-round, unless otherwise specified.
