The Outer Banks Sand Sculpture Festival will be held June 29-July 1 at Kitty Hawk Kites in Nags Head. Located across from Jockey's Ridge State Park at milepost 12.5, the festival features the professional sand sculpting team Sandtastic. The work begins at 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning (June 29) and will continue through mid-afternoon Thursday (June 30). The sand sculptures created at the Outer Banks Sand Sculpture Festival will be on display through the weekend.
