Families can add one more activity to their must-do list while visiting the Outer Banks, NC next week. The carnival is coming!

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the incorporation of the town of Nags Head, a carnival will be held from Tuesday June 14th-Saturday June 18th from 5:30 until 11:30 p.m. nightly.  Outer Banks locals and vacationers can enjoy family- friendly activities, rides, food and more. The location of the carnival is The Windmill Point location, just before Tanger Outlet Mall, in Nags Head, NC.

The 50th anniversary is a milestone event, and organizers are ensuring the carnival will be an unforgettable celebration. In addition to traditional traveling carnival rides such as; The Zipper, Starship 4000, High Roller, Super-Slide, Ring of Fire and The Roundup, there will also be attractions for the little ones to enjoy.

Popular carnival food items will be for sale including; funnel cake, cotton candy, as well as offerings from local merchants.

Commemorative items including  a cookbook of local recipes entitled “50 Years and Still Cooking” will be available from local merchants and restaurants in Nags Head.
