The 424th anniversary celebration of Virginia Dare's birthday is Thursday, August 18. Come join the fun at Virginia Dare Faire Days at The Lost Colony in Fort Raleigh National Historic Site from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Virginia Dare was the first English child born on American soil when her parents arrived with the original colonists from England.
