The 2011 Hatteras Island Surf Film Festival will be held this Saturday, August 20 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Kitty Hawk Kites in Rodanthe/Waves, NC. The annual Outer Banks surf film festival will feature live music and surf films all night long on a giant inflatable movie screen sponsored by Global Surf Network.
A special slide show by local Outer Banks surf photographer Mickey McCarthy will be presented along with the surf film Noah’s Arc, featuring Outer Banks local Noah Synder and CASA a Brazilian surf film followed by International Surf Film shorts.
Live music by the Jesse Hines Band, Rubber Pants and The Delimiters will be performed 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. followed by the surf films.
