The 17th Annual Outer Banks Parade of Homes Oct. 8-11, 2009
For the 17th consecutive year, the Outer Banks Home Builders Association will host the Parade of Homes. 28 homes covering Corolla to Hatteras Island will be showcased. This year’s homes will offer fresh and innovative building designs. New products, green methods, and new technologies are just a few of the features you can expect to see. The 28 unique homes represent everything from great starter homes, to lavish and luxurious resort properties. For this year’s parade, luxuries and extras were “toned down” and efficiency and functionality were the emphasis.
The parade is open from 10 am-6pm, Thursday Oct 8 through Sunday Oct 11. Participating builders and vendors will be available on-site each day. Tickets are $10, and may be purchased in advance at any of the homes, ticket outlets, including in front of Walmart in Kitty Hawk. Ticket proceeds will go to benefit the Outer Banks Food Pantry.
