Every year on the frist weekend of June, Ocracoke Island is filled with the sounds of music and storytelling. The 12th Annual Ocrafolk Music and Storytelling Festival begins this Friday, June 3.

Local artists and craftsmen will be on hand selling their locally made goods. And live music and storytelling will fill the streets.

On Friday, the festival kicks off with a pot-luck dinner and auction. Saturday will be a full day of music, storytelling and dancing in the streets. On Sunday, visitors and locals will enjoy the Gospel sing and live music all day long.
