In honor of Outer Banks Restaurant Week, Sun Realty has attempted to solve one of the many “good” dilemmas during your Outer Banks vacation: where to eat. Some of our own chimed in with their favorites:

DeAnna in Duck: I love Goombays (in Kill Devil Hills)! It's a very relaxed atmosphere. They have a fantastic brunch on Sundays. My favorite is the banana french toast with applewood smoked bacon. Great, now I’m hungry!

Leslie in Kill Devil Hills: Colington Cafe - sometimes overlooked because of location but excellent food.

Sharon in Avon: My favorites are Breakwater in Hatteras, Rusty's in Buxton and Mack Daddy's in Avon.

Lori in Salvo: Good Winds Restaurant in Waves. It's on top of Kitty Hawk Kites. They have an amazing sunset view. The food is incredible - they have a 5-star chef. My favorite is the seafood pot. Shrimp, oysters and clams and mussels served in a broth with an ear of corn. Amazing!

Cathy in Corolla: Barefoot Bernies (in Kitty Hawk)! The Fruits de Mar is wonderful! The drinks are terrific and the staff is outstanding.

Amy in Kill Devil Hills: Tortugas Lie (in Nags Head).

Tiffany in Kitty Hawk: One of my favorites is Outback Steakhouse (in Nags Head). Their Outback Special is great! You can choose between a six, nine or 12 oz. seasoned steak and two freshly made sides. Great food and great service!

Sue in Kill Devil Hills: Kill Devil Grill just south of the Ramada on Virginia Dare Trail (in Kill Devil Hills) is awesome for lunch. Get there early because space is limited. You won't be disappointed!

Sara in Nags Head: My favorite restaurant is Awful Arthur's (in Kill Devil Hills), because absolutely everything is Awfully Awesome! Especially their delicious crab dip served with homemade potato chips.

My pick? So many great places to choose from, so little time. Here’s a list of dining places courtesy of the Outer Banks Restaurant Association. Don’t forget dessert!
