The first town you reach when crossing the Wright Memorial Bridge from the north, Kitty Hawk hosts tapered beaches with some of the lowest dune lines on the Outer Banks. These low dune lines offer unobstructed ocean and beach views and easy beach access for those walking to the shoreline. In addition to the beaches, this area also offers superb local dining and small, locally-owned shopping outlets and surf shops. Bike trails, walking paths and dog parks are also nestled within this coastal community and allows visitors to see the maritime forest in which Kitty Hawk resides.
